Happy Solstice & Welcome to Cancer Season

Now that the eclipses have fully settled in, we now turn the page with this summer or winter solstice depending on which hemisphere you are on.

With Cancer season upon us and the Capricorn full moon approaching, now is the time to take care of ourselves and nourish ourselves as Cancer brings us into the center of our homes, our temple, our body and physical spaces we retreat into for comfort.

We have a relationship with these spaces and with our loved ones that commune in these shared spaces. Every relationship has conflict and learning to use the conflict to bring you closer into the heart is vital to our growth and evolution as heart based beings.

This period is what I am calling the Return of the Mother, as cancer brings us into reflection of the deep waters of our consciousness. We start taking note of all the things our cancer nature tends to hold onto so we can fully feel and allow the high tides to wash away any old karmic residue.

We have crossed a new threshold. Now it’s time to honor the values we chose in Taurus season and lean into them fully in this cancer season.

Everything is a practice… all the thoughts, emotions, actions we honor are curating a practice and it’s now up to us to actually discern and choose what we are choosing to practice moment by moment knowing our life experience is birthed through these practices.

Take care of yourselves. Be kind to one another. Knowing every human encounter holds a reflection of who we are. Honor your heart. Become aware of your conscious and unconscious practices. Feel the feels and let it flow. Choose to honor the practices that best align with the vision you wish to embody. And don’t forget to rest and play. Cancer season is all about sun, water, rest and play.
